How do you want to experience Oracculous?
Both modes share the same core: quests, XP, levels, the 9 Domains, Class, rank, and achievements. Only one thing changes — whether your downtime enters the game as a reward you earn, or stays outside it.
Journey
The progress is enough.
You tick what you did and watch your Domains climb. No Gold, no Shop, no inventory to manage, and nothing you do outside the app has to be paid for. Pick this if watching the bar move is what moves you.
Ascension
Downtime starts having a price.
Every quest pays Gold, and Gold is what unlocks, in the Shop, the things you would do anyway: watching a movie, bingeing a series, ordering dessert. Downtime stops being what you did instead of your day and becomes what you earned in it.
In Ascension Mode, you register your own rewards in the Shop — a TV episode, a game match, a favorite dessert — and set the price for each. From then on, that downtime is unlocked only with the Gold earned that day. It is a voluntary system that transforms leisure into earned merit, free of guilt.
